    Pinhoti Trail

Anybody hiked and camped on the Pinhoti trail in North GA? If so, how was it? Is there access to water? Looking for a good father/son hike, at least 10 miles in. North Georgia area

ck out http://pinhotitrailalliance.org/sitemap.html for detailed trail guides----------have fun!
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

I've thru-hiked the Pinhoti. You'll find quiet there.

Check out the PTA stie stevebo linked above. The John's Mountain section (23) is nice, or perhaps a section in the Cohuttas (29).
