The campsite is beside a flowing creek with lots of silt in it.
No bathroom facilities.

BAH... I thought I had everything set to go for this, but I just found out my sister and her kids are coming into town from Tennessee to visit for that weekend.
Oh well. You guys have fun. I'll be drooling over the pics of the MM breakfasts and cobblers when the trip report comes out.

Charley,
If you're looking on Google maps and see the campground on the lake, that is the public campground. We will not be there. As Mad mentioned, no facilities within the state forest. Water is available (purification recommended)!

Thank you. I thought this was the next weekend but I still would like to make it there. It sounds like lots of fun and good food. I will not even get to Florida until the evening of the 18th.

It's not this weekend. It is next weekend (not sure if that was the one you were talking about).

Weed need 1-2 packages of frozen thick cut bacon since engine can't make it

Also, since it's not likely that I'm going to stay and can't carry it in anyway I won't be bringing my DO (maybe I'll bring the bacon). I think we have ample dutch ovens with olddog, MAD777, and edhess each bringing theirs.

Great white - Put me on the list for now. 6 onions

Olddog - DO, C.B. grits x2, cobblers x2

MAD777 - aluminum (gram weenie) Dutch Oven, 2 onions, 2 green peppers.

emcee - 1 bag charcoal, 4 contractor grade (3 mil) garbage bags, saw

Duffy & MightyMouse - 4 dozen eggs, 6 bell peppers

zukiguy (maybe and +1 maybe) - bag of charcoal

lilricky (aka "Lead Sherpa" aka "The Sherpanator" aka "Ricky Poppins" aka "Ricky Poppy") - just about everything else! (4 dozen eggs, sausage, cheese, tortillas, and salsa)

FLRider - Unless my covering person craps out on me at the last minute, I'm in for this one! Woohoo!

Tuck (+ a few?) - dessert plus charcoal

edo - firewood and DO

Shannan - firewood and Thai food!
