We're in. My son Gameboy and I will be attending. I get out of work at 7;00 AM Saturday morning. 2 hour drive from Sarasota per google maps. should be there around 10:00 AM. I'm not Quite clear on where the trail is, but am sure I can find the parking lot. Just tell me if I need to bring anything. Looking forward to hangin with you all again. Now on to packing up.

When you arrive, if there isn't anywhere left to park you can follow the road to the right (continue on Rucks Dairy road) and there is an open field to the right (but before you actually get to the dairy property which isn't ours) with a pile of shell rock. You can park there. You will start down School Bus Road (veer to the left instead of to the right towards Rucks Dairy Road) about 100 feet and see the trailhead to the left. As soon as you get on the trail you can go to the right (blue trail... shorter and more direct) or go left on the orange trail (longer but a very nice and scenic trail). As you continue along the trail past where the orange and blue meet again you will go a ways (1/4 mile? somewhere around there) farther until you come to the first trail to your left. That is the trail to the camp site and is about another 1/4 mile.
See you soon!

I just got my work schedule all cleared, so count me in. I will be there Friday morning.
Just a couple of questions, are pets ok and what supplies are still needed?
I added you to the attendee list and put you in for two packs of thick cut bacon for the mountainman breakfast. Is that ok with you?
I think we're covered on the food front and I think we'll have enough. Can you schlep in some decent firewood? (as many pieces that you can carry... or bring in several trips... this IS the sherpa hang )
We will probably be ok on the firewood but every little bit helps. You could also come ready to do a fire building or other bushcraft type tutorial (veeeery informal and only if you feel like it). I know that most of the folks that attend hangs are interested in that. Maybe if there is something that you feel like talking about you can do that on Saturday. But... it's completely up to you

Wow guys! I've been run over by a steamroller! Not sure what happened, but I could not even get out of bed all day. I sure hope it's not the flu bug or something. In any event, I am going to pull myself off the list for this weekend. Sorry I have to beg out.

We'll miss you Ed. I felt that way last week and not quite 100% as I type this. I may be doing a lot of close inspection of my bugnet from the inside this weekend.

"Life is a Project!"
I'll most likely be there at sunset, or shortly thereafter, leaving work around 4pm on Friday and it takes about an hour and a half to get there.
I'll probably be there after dark. It all depends on how early the boss lets me sneak out. I guess I'd better start packing....
