I'm definitely in and talking to a couple of friends about coming, but I'm not sure about how many will actually make it. I'll repost when I get a definite number.

So, I'm planning to bring a dessert for everyone plus another bag of charcoal if there is a need. I'm also willing to make a second trip with my big pack to help carry stuff.

I hate having to miss this again this year, but I have a fly fishing tournament the same weekend. My wife says I have too many hobbies. I don't know what she means by that. I will see you guys at Richloam, though. Have fun and take lots of pics!

recipe for peach cobbler, from Olddog himself

Can of peaches reserve juice and slice peaches (or buy sliced to start with)
bottle of squirt soda (use half. drink other half)
    yellow cake mix
    Zip lock bag for mix

peaches go in bottom of oven
cake mix and squirt in zip lock bag and mix by "squishing it" until smooth

Cut corner of zip and squeeze batter into oven, over the peaches

    Cover and cook

I'm not sure where the reserved peach juice goes.

THANK YOU for bringing the pretty peppers. I've never been a fan of the green ones but the orange and yellow (and to a lesser extent the red) are so good.

    See you soon!

I am a hiker, so look forward to the hike in! And I like small gatherings, too. Thank you, see you soon!

Hey guys! I am back from a great week vacation of hangin' and exploring the Wilderness Waterway by boat. Too bad I had to pass on the FH3 this year, but I am looking forward to joining the Sherpa Hang. Count me in on the list of sherpas. Not sure I am clear on supplies that may be needed by the group for the weekend. Let me know if there is anything special to bring along. Looking forward to sharing a few tales.

The juice gets sprinkled over the top of the whole mix for extra juicy goodness. Don't use all of the reserved juice, though. Just enough to give it a gloss. Any extra goes into your favorite adult beverage. Then do the cinnamon shaker dance over the top, cover and cook.
Stand back when you uncover because Floridahanger will smell it and come running
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Glad you can make it Ed!
Looks like a few pieces of firewood would be useful.

I just bought 5 bags of wood from Publix. I'll plan to pack a few along. It may not be a cord of wood, but it is a start.
