I think you can just go ahead and count me in guys. I'm gonna work on getting an underquilt between now and then. My wife MIGHT make it but I'll need to get her a little bit of gear. She might be on the ground for the sake of warmth.
So, let me know what I need to bring. I'd love some cobbler and some thai. Whatever you need me to bring I'll do my best.
Ive never heard of it... But I like spicy
Sounds good. I won't need anything to be brought. it is pretty simple. It is just ground pork with veggies and a couple Thai seasonings I have here and will combine to add to the wok. Brown and add veggies and take off heat and add the special ingredient to top it off..... Lime juice freshly sqeezed... then serve it up. It will compliment whatever you have planned for dinner. I will plan on 2 lbs of it for now.
Man, do you guys know how good this is to be living in Florida? Here we are talking about getting away to a beautiful part of the state, maybe even have some weather like this past weekend for the hang. Having dutch ovens fired up making a gourmet Mountain Man breakfast. Now we are adding some Thai cuisine to the menu. That does not even mention having the great stories with friends around the campfire. How great is that!! It's just how we roll here in the Sunshine State.
I will try to make this. I should be a bit southwest of Orlando then visiting. I am 65 with bad knees but should be able to make a cpl miles. This sounds like a fun weekend. I'm not sure what I'll be bringing yet. It looks like everything needed is coming but I can always haul in some wood.
I was wondering if I brought some amsteel, would someone be willing to give me a tutorial on how to make whoopies and ucr's. I just claimed a tablecloth and I need a suspension.
Or, I noticed that someone was selling a whoopie and arl kit at FH3. Will the be here? Although, I would rather learn how to make them myself.
Thanks...
Tuck
Bring on the bad knees and the Amsteel
There will be plenty of time to rest and to make whoopies!

Usually cooking fires are still allowed (at least for a while). I will find out on Monday what this will mean for the "Sherpa hang cooking gang". This seems very preemptive so I think cooking fires should be fine (I seem to remember that this was how it was last year).
We might need to bring lots of marshmallows so that we can constantly be cooking over the fire. Oh yeah, Ricky Poppins can bring some Jiffy Pop (we could call it "Arbuckle Nights: The Legend of Ricky Poppy")
More info Monday evening. In the meantime we need to nail down our attendee list again. People stopped adding their names and we have LOTS of "I think I'll try to make it" but not really a food commitment. I will revive the attendance list again this evening.
