    FL>LWRSF>Arbuckle>Feb 22-24, 2013 - 2nd Annual Sherpa Hang

Ok, I'll admit it... I have the trip planning bug and I really want to get out there and do some hammock camping I've decided to pick a weekend for the Second Annual Sherpa Hang. Mark your calendars for the last weekend in February. Same place, same everything else, just a year later

    For some planning information:
    Last year's planning thread
    Last year's trip report
The planning documents web page for the hang

It will be the weekend of February 22-24, 2013. At the moment this is primarily a "Save the date" post but once we get closer (probably after the big FL hang in January) I'll get it going so that we can start planning all of the details. This hang will have lots of details to plan

I think it will be easiest to just plan to have the annual sherpa hang on the last weekend in February. That will make pre-planning easier, you will always know when this hang will be conducted

Amateur....you need the hoverboard from back to the future. Just float all our junk to the campsite.

I'm in! Just entered the dates in the Forum calender. Like having set dates, it allows those wanting to attend to make arrangements and preperations.

Are you getting some cabin fever there Samsara? I know how you feel, I want to get out but I know the heat is just too much for me. I moved to Melbourne a couple of months ago and my gear is still packed. Except of course, my quilts, they are in my closet uncompressed.

Nice job on the website, I bookmarked it for future reference.

What I remember is getting everything chopped, diced, sauteed, browned, drained and eggs dumped on top with cheese on top of everything. Firing the DO then everyone going off to break down their rigs and 45 min later someone remembering we had a Mountian Man breakfast cooking. Don't recall who saved the breakfast, may have been Islander, but when that lid came off it was a thing of beauty.

Some of our hangs tend to result in a positive caloric gain!

"Some"? Every group hang I've been to where I didn't have to bike forty-plus miles has done that...

I'm a "maybe" on this one; it's right near my birthday. I might be able to coax some sucker coworker into covering for me as a present.
