I just posted a new blog post review of the updated Hammock Bliss Sky Tent 2. A few alterations since it was first reviewed by Sgt. Rock. Pretty neat that Hammock Bliss took the prusik recommendation from Sgt. Rock and integrated it into the new version. Also added was a second portal to accommodate another hammock.
I have posted all the specs and my thoughts more completely on the blog. Overall, I agree with Sgt. Rock that the tarp is a little small. It is serviceable, however, and I didn't get wet with one hammock during some serious downpours, but a little extra side coverage would be nice.
Getting two hammocks is workable with a few caveats: 1) bunk bed hammocks don't work well with hammock ridge lines for (hopefully) obvious reasons. 2) site selection is key because in order to hang hammocks with a good sag you've got to get the right hang angle, which can be challenging inside the Sky Tent. 3) I think hanging in a "V" config is probably the best, but again, site selection is paramount.
