I haven't really been able to make any grip and slip knot work well in amsteel. It's just such slick stuff.

    Whoopies are easy to make.

The bowline with sloppy release holds great its just when you pull on the skippy to release it can be hard to pull throught. Also not to be rude the point of the thread is to find a knot as I am using this not on trees with tree straps but anywhere else on its own

I recently purchased tiny stainless removable links kinda like D-rings from home depot that have been very useful in many situations. Tie a loop in the line or make an adjustable sliding loop then use the stainless link for connection point. ?? I use tree straps, spike hitch, and woopies for my suspension but the stainless links work nice for my Ridgeline and in place of carabiner. May be useful in your situation or maybe not, just a thought.

+1 for this knot. appears to be great for most hanging applications including tie outs and ridgelines for adjustability..

Another +1 for the Farrimond in many circumstances. I find it to be the perfect knot for tarp tie outs where I use a polyester cord. However I have never been able to make that knot hold when tied in dyneema.
