I have used it for the first time one hour ago...First impresions are good, I have been suffering lumbar pain since some days ago, and this hammock works better than my current bed relating to this lumbar issue.
Today was a hot day in Pyrennes and in this hammock I was resting well cooled..better than my other hammocks in hot situations... much better
I have never used a bridge before so for people like me you need a little period to know how to move inside the RR, but is ok.
And the best for me is the view.. I used hammocks cause I love the forest and with the RR...your field of view is awsome.
Other thing that has impresed me is the quality of the finish product...
Sorry about my English and best regards from the aragonese Pyrenees

I remember him saying you need the poles which the handle unscrews to act as a camera monopod. Unscrew the handle an screw on one of his tips.

Put my FrankenQuilt DIY UQ on my RR and it fits like a champ. It does have a radius cut on the inner layer against hammock so snugs right up.
It is 35 inches wide at it's widest part. 4 feet long. Happy))))))
Playing around with the hammock as I have a few days to play.

Not sure.....I am no expert on that sort of force. Nor have I ever tried.
Maybe if the stick is straight and strong and the proper length it would work.
Try it and report back as I am sure others would be curious......

If the cheaper hiking poles snap on other bridge hammocks, I would think you would have to have very stout sticks,,some of the guys with their DIY Bridges, have snapped 5/8 oak purchased rods from Lowes and have them snap too,,going to 1" finished oak with the grain running as true as possible down the length of rod they buy.

I'm waiting until I see an Incubator on an RR report and that only because it is for Judy not me (too hefty don't cha know). If it worked for my tonnage the order would have been in last night.
