I've had my WBRR for about a week now and finally got to give it a proper try today. The first two times I set it up were in stands that were not ideal for the RR. Today I strung it up between trees that were ~18' apart. Several times in and out to tweak the hang angle (yep... flatter than a gathered end) and foot to head height and WOW! This thing is very comfortable and stable.

Now my problem is what to do with all the gathered end hammocks and material to make more that I have.

Thanks Brandon for the excellent design. It was worth the wait.

I got my first full night with the RR over the weekend. It dropped below freezing over night, had some freezing fog. I was SHOCKED how effective the sock was.

I think making a overcover to stow away at opposite end of bugnet like on the Dangerbird and Clarks would be nice. But no need to change it.

Awesome pics Hulk! Looks like a great spot. Temps are dropping in my neck of the woods, think I may have to scoop one of those Spindrifts!

    Cheers

Nor did I with two days of rain and some fog. That thing rocks! Love the custom fit! Way warmer inside than outside.

Just thought of another random thing I've come to love about the RR - it allows you great control over venting your TQ around your upper body.
I've found that with the RR, when I start warming up, I can drape my TQ sides over the saddlebags, which allows just a small amount of cold air through. I find it is easier to get the right amount of air coming in to modulate my temperature than what I had to do to vent in a gathered-end hammock. Gathered-end venting seemed more like a perpetual hot/cold/hot cycle. Not so with the RR!
Potential is nothing without hard work.
