She sleeps on my left, and I sleep slightly to the left, so this way she can hang her head out the zipper all night. She gets too hot if her head is covered. Both are excellent hammocks, and each has a thing or two I wish the other did.
She hasn't been in the Traveler yet, but I bet she will like the lack of netting.

Mine likes to hang in my Blackbird also. He fits just right in the little pocket where your stuff usually goes. I even made a pad for him from some left over evazote foam.
I'm nervous to take my Beagle in my single layer Blackbird.
As my dog is 115 lbs there is no way I am letting her in my hammock. She might kick me out.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

Doggy hammock! Great idea! I wish my pit bull would enjoy the hammock. i have gotten her in it a few times but she's not fond of it. And at 60 pounds it's only a few hours before I get tired of the situation.
