    Outside at last!

    Hello Everyone,

It's been a long summer, and although I've been hanging regularly in my apartment, it's taken until to-day to hang hammock and tarp outside! Hanging has a been a huge learning experience for me - sleeping off the ground suspended in mid-air, finding the "sweet spot" and let's not forget those 30 degree angles!

Anyway. I'm pleased to report that after several attempts at hanging in local parks, this afternoon I put everything together in what I think is an acceptable configuration. Thank you Warbonnet Guy for including a structural ridgeline in your hammocks!

I managed to take several photos of the crime...or event. The distance between the trees was about 14 feet...less than 5 metres. The trees themselves were about two feet in diameter and posed a bit of a problem hanging the tarp. (This is the first time I've set up any kind of tarp.)

Thank you everyone - and especially Warbonnet Guy and Shug - for all your advice and videos. I most appreciate them.

    Cheers,

PS This was so much fun, I think I might do it again!

Nice set up you've put together! You're going to really like the tarp, great coverage. Good luck with your hanging adventures.
