    Whoopie slings too long

I've been looking into getting some whoopie slings, with extra length added so I can attach my tarp to them (i know most people don't like this, but i just can't give up the convenience). I've heard of people having trouble with the whoopie slings being to long already and was wondering if their was a way of using a continuous loop (so you can hang on the continuous loop w/o whoopies, if trees are too close) that attach directly to the whoopies. Whoopie hooks are expensive and I won't be change out suspension often, so I'm looking to bypass the hooks while still attaching continuous loops at end of hammock to whoopies, anybody know how to do this or have other suggestions?

or possibly, are the dutch ridgeline biner strong enough to suppose full hammock suspension (though it says it is not recommended for this on the dutchware page).

    Thanks!

My hammock has continuous loops on the channeled ends. My whoopies are attached to the end loop like a fly line rig.

that seems simple enough, though i just found that it looks like a lot of people use a larks head to directly connect the continuous loops at the ends of hammock to whoopie slings. seems easy. I guess the only other question i have is what size continuous loops do you recommend for using at the ends of a HH hyperlite. Thanks all

I have continuous loops larks-headed to my hammock with whoopies attached to the loops. When trees are close, I simply hang the cont. loop on a Marlin Spike Hitch in my strap. The whoopie just dangles.

Schweet! I learn something most everyday I look to learn sumthin!
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

Question. If my continuous loops are amsteel and my whoopies are dynaglide, would there be any foreseeable problems?

I don't see a problem. I have Dynaglide continuous loops on one hammock, with Amsteel whoopies. Same dif.
