Like so many others have stated I don't believe that I'll ever be completely finished, not as long as I keep hanging around the forum. Still playing with Redoleary's mini-spreaders and starting on hiknhanger's magnets. But then that's what I love about this group.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

I thought I was good to go just after a couple of months, but then just had to try another hammock, and then different tarps, now I "think" I'm great...except weight wise. I also enjoy fiddling, so I don't think I'll ever really be done. It's an addiction....is that ever really complete?

I have made it 3 months without making a stove though

Never really I mean I think what I am planning about a couple more years. I am dirt poor. but I am soon going to get a continuous ridge line.

It's hopeless! I've been messing with hammocks since 1992, and camping gear in general for 62 years. It's an addiction, but as Optimator writes "It's only an addiction if you want to stop".
I THOUGHT GETTING OLDER WOULD TAKE MUCH LONGER.
