I have finally gotten my BB in the air. I purchased some extensions for my backyard stand. The extensions are supposed to be paired with a canopy for providing shade, but works quite well for hanging my hammock high enough off the ground. I will prob use this rig till I build my own TL/TDstand

This stand now is close to 5'9" high and 15' wide and i am able to hang

Fantastic! Where did you get these extensions ?

It was under $60 delivered for just the canopy poles

I had to call them and ask to sell me parts of the canopy kit.

Looks like I might need to order a new stand.

Yes! I had been considering the LLbean hammock stand, but you may have just given me the correct solution to my balcony problem. At only 14' long with 4' high rails, this hammock stand might just be the ticket! Thank you!

    EDIT:
I've spoken too soon. The stand itself is 15' long and 4' high as seen on the following link..
