Where's a girl to hang in WNC?

So I finally talked my friend into trying out hammock camping. I'm even being nice enough to let her use the WBBB while I go back to my trusty ENO. I'm hoping to get out again this weekend for a short trip and I'm looking for ideas on where to go near WCU. I love going into the GSNP, but want something easy with minimal hiking this time around. Any good spots along the Tuck or Pinnacle that people know?

Also, any suggestions on future hangs would be great too. I hope to make her a full convert.

I know there are probably many places closer to home you could try, but for minimal hiking, nice facilities, and beautiful scenery you might want to try Burrell's Ford campground along the Chattooga near Oconee, SC. I've been there with Venture Scouts and HF groups have also met there. It is probably about 50-60 miles from Whittier.

Being in Whittier I would guess that you're familiar with the Deep Creek section of GSMNP. Not knowing what 'minimal hiking' might mean, you could consider a short loop out of Twentymile and camp at CS 93, or you could just go up and back. CS 50 out of Smokemont on the Chasteen Creek Trail might also be something to look at. Yes, either the Hot Springs or the Grayson Highland Hangs would be a great way to meet some folks and get out. Hope it goes well.
