    manufactored stands

Back to asking more ??'s. looking to find a manufactored hammock stand that'll break down small. To fit into mini-van, or smaller toyota car. Do like all the DIY ideas but there to long for either vehicle along with my 2 boys and our backpacking/scout gear. Did check out a website think it was vario but just wasn't sure it'd be tall enough for both the blackbird hammock and superfly set-up.

Do a search for either "turtlelady stand" or "turtledog stand". Both of these will take you to several threads on building your own. If you're unable or unwilling to do a little DIY you're going to have a pretty tough time.

I was able to get my setup into my Mazda 6. Most sedans have a folding rear seat that makes it easier to load. My Turtle lady Stand for my setup are 6'6" in length when folded up. The 10' cross bar separates for for easy packing. The whole thing weighs about as much as a three man tent.
