So what did you do with your Hammock today?

Today, I packed up from my first solo overnight trail trip with my hammock. All went well till bout 2:30 am when I woke up with a shivering case of CBS (cold butt syndrom) and couldn't find bubble mylar mat. I had turned several times and it was at the foot of the hammock. After a quick sort, fluff, and reassembling of the contents, I was already too awake to go back to sleep.
Luckily another camper could not sleep either and we sat huddled in our blankets at the table and talked till it was light enough for me to ride home. Still, it was a great trip.

I woke up in mine this morning...down by the French Broad river (been there since Thursday). Had coffee before rising then walked over to the main camp and had breakfast with all the Hot Springs Hang attendees! It was a blast!

I made my first hammock today. My bright purple tablecloth hammock has now replaced the spreaderbar hammock in the yard.

Nothing but dream!!! Waiting on 2QZQ to send it back. Killing me to wait and see how much better the Henessy will be.

I took an hour long nap in the backyard with my hammock. It was great.

aired it out after an overnighter introducing my girlfriend to a hammock for the first time.
she spent part of the evening looking at hammocks online. another recruit!

Learning to use my grandmother's sewing machine that I found so as to make some gear. I have raw materials for a UQ and can't wait to get started. Have some big ideas! LOL
