So what did you do with your Hammock today?

My hammock? I just moved it out of the way, to get to "other" gear. But in the big picture, I hung my Guide Gear tarp on my Turtledog stand, to make sure it would fit. Then took some measurements and ordered some poles from Quest Outfitters for a pole mod. I have figure 9s on the tarp and started to make new Guy lines, using Shane's method, and found out that I didn't have enough Zing-it to finish. Guy lines will have to wait for a few weeks. I received two Imusa pots, a 12 and a 10, from the PIF thread and started planning my baking kit.

Rigged my new SLS and am hanging in the yard tonight, listening to the soft rain and overhearing the crowd noise at the Oregon/Arizona game across the way.

I got it in the mail yesterday, and then set it up in the backyard today. Can't wait to use it next weekend on my first backpacking trip.

Took the HH for a spin today to try out some lazy slug tubes that I got on PIF. Unfortunately, they don't do what we want them to do. I put the doors back on the HH Hex tarp and gave it a new set of mesh snake skins.

I also retired the HH from daily duty and set it asde for field use only. Put whoopies and a ridge line on the ENO double and it now serves as the full timer.
