So what did you do with your Hammock today?

I spent the better part of the day tweaking my Hammock and other gear still messing with the ridge line.

I took a nap in it and later tonight I'll sleep in it (I'm a full timer)

This morning chased a spider, this afternoon shook out the TQ to make sure there was no spider hiding in there, and this evening before getting in to go to sleep I will probably shake the underquilt out again just to reassure myself that there is no spider in there!

Had a Boy Scout court of honor, to award the merit badges and advancements from summer camp. We cooked about 10 chickens and a big bag of tators on an open fire. I brought my back up hammock, an ENO dl with whoopies for the other leaders and scouts to try out. I had it set up before most of the boys got there, and most asked if I had stayed the night, or was going too. All that tried it, enjoyed.

Tinkered with a makeshift SRL and took some measurements in contemplation of a bug net and cold weather system.

I dreamt about mine all day while lounging in a chair at a lake party, and hung mine in the yard with a tarp for tonight when I checked the weather and saw a storm moving in.

Use the longer stakes on the tarp tonight, in case it blows! Snug and dry under a tarp in the rain, what a sound!

I measured some fabric and am contemplating making a sock like Pips' TED bugnet. Just wondering if the bottom should be PU to hold out splashes or if it would fill like a tub if I didn't have a tarp over it. I can put on lots of mental miles before the scissors and thread come out, bet I'm not the only guilty party in that!
