The kids and I are headed to Ky lake. It'll be my last chance to try to ski this year. A few more pounds aded on over last winter didn't allow me to on Memorial weekend. Since the wife will be staying at home this time and if the kids don't chicken out, we probably won't even mess the beds up.
    It'll be alright Friday!

The USPS should be delivering my new Warbonnet Ridgerunner this afternoon. If they do, I plan to head to the Lye Brook Wilderness in the Green Mountain National Forest for a couple of nights, starting tomorrow. The idea is to be back home before the weekend, so I can avoid the crowds that will be in the woods over the holiday weekend.

Ill be at home wishing I was hiking/hammocking. You all have fun and be safe in the piny woods.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

A small group of friends are planning on hiking to various water falls in the Richland Creek area in the Ozark National Forest. Twelve total water falls in the area, hopefully we will get to most. If Issac stays on course there should be some rain coming our way, If not we will get some nice views of rocks. This will be the first hammock hang for two of them, and one of those is waiting on tableclothsfactory.com to deliver his hammock.

Packing up the U-Haul to drop my two kids off at college in Boston. There will be plenty of labor in my Labor Day weekend, as one kid is changing apartments, and the other is moving into a new apartment.

On the way home, we're stopping in the Catskills for an overnighter.
