Boy, am I glad to see this! Last week I was sitting out on an Embassy Suites patio snuggling with my little boy after he got a little cold in the supposedly heated indoor pool. I look across the driveway at a nice stand of hardwood trees that they had left on the property, thinking how perfect they looked for hanging a hammock. I thought then, "Is there something wrong with me? Do I have a problem?" Naah

The wife has been after me to prune the dead limbs off of the oaks and pines on our property. Now that I have a hammock I'm considering actually doing it.

    Our front yard

The downhill side of the property in early spring.

I have some work to do.

You mean you didn't rig up a hang right there on the patio?

Now that would be pretty suite....

When you run off the road and luckily, and very graciously run back onto the road, with no damage and no one hurt, but a husband white knuckling the dash yelling "what the &$#& was that all about" and your calm response is...."I saw two of the most perfect trees way back over there to hang on, they were just beautiful and spaced perfectly and in full bloom". True story.

My wife asked if something was wrong one afternoon while she was driving us home and I was looking out the window for the perfect pair (of trees). Kind of shocked I asked her why? she said "you are so quiet." I laughed and told her what I was doing. She just said "you are so weird." BTW she still loves to tell our friends how that I sleep in the backyard in my hammock. They seem to think that is weird also! But everyone gets a good laugh so I don't mind.
