    jarbridge rating

I have a 3 season jarbridge uq. I forgot what the temp ratings are for this uq. I will going next weekend for an overnight hang and it is supposed to drop to 27F. Some have recommended to us an emergency blanket with the uq. Any other suggestion on how I can keep warm.

The J is rated to 30F, though some folks have gone lower. For around 27 you will probably be good with just the quilt and good thermal layers. Warm hat, loose fitting comfortable socks. Never hurts to throw in a couple chemical hand warmers just in case to put in the hammock with you, one by your toes and another near your kidneys can help if you get a chill. If it gets real cold then a hot water bottle is your best friend.

I have used the same UQ, with a military sleep system, poncho liner over my ridgeline as a "sock", and a small piece of pad under my feet, and been down to 24 degrees and I was warm. I tied the PL at the foot end and slid it up the ridgeline to cover my whole body.
