    Sticky on tarp set-ups?

I'd like to see tarp set-ups on one thread. Diamond, Baker's Hut, winter, and other really creative configurations, with clear photos showing how they are staked and tied out. Or maybe I should just say, "Show me your best tarp setup!"

You can try that! Also look up some drawn up work from member dejoha. He also has a few in his book as well.

That was my thought as well. Still trying to figure out how the folds stay in place and don't collapse.

I never slept on the ground with a tarp, but researching tarps is what led me to hammocks. I think the link above is a good reference tool once you understand tarps, but I did not think it was clear for a beginner. I will try to find the link to some of the first tarps setups I was able to master.

I accused the pdf in the previous link of not being clear.
Maybe I should not have done that before I post this.
    This is my cheat sheet.
Page two walks you through some basic set ups.

I was trying to design a tarp that could be deployed several ways including some of my own design which I have since abandoned.
The pyramid design is A) easy and B) impressive C) not practical in real life.
The open pyramid is a common and useful one.
