No, sorry I haven't, and probably won't. I've learned to never say never...so who knows what the future holds...but nothing now.

Doesn't Brandon have something like that for the Ridge Runner? Would that work on the BMBH?

I am working on something for a gathered end hammock. It isn't a sock..it is a variation of our UQP. One more person to try it out and if successful, we will put it on our website.

Not sure if it has enough slack in the foot end of it to compensate for the 32" wide foot end of the BMBH or BMBH UL of Jacks. Someone with one might end up with that item and be able to tell us eventually.

I have the original size bridge, not the UL, that picture I put up with my Grand Trunk UL is of my regular BMBH and a full length 20* UQ by Paul from Underground Quilts. I'll let you know how it works, as far as I know the only difference between the two JRB bridge's is the depth, the UL is more shallow, other than that I believe they're the same.

My thoughts on the loops, on my bmbh the corner rings are roughly 82'' apart. So if you layed out the uqp, you'll want the loops about 80" apart, centered along the edge, giving you an even number from corner loop to gathered end. Maybe add 3 loops, one at 80", then two more on either side an inch or two away to accomondate DIY bridges...

If we ask those that order a bridge UQP, what bridge they have...if a DIY, we can get the length and put the tabs on accordingly. I would rather do that than have several unneeded tabs sticking up! ZQ

Ewker was kind enough to e-mail the Jack's for dimentions of their BMBH's. Here is their response:

"Both hammocks are 80 inches long and 29 inches wide…The deluxe is 18.5 inches deep and the UL is 14.5 inches deep".

I think the UQP would fit both, it would just hang a bit lower on the UL...sound right?

    Hi,

Sorry for the delay, big day yesterday.

Ok, I set it up with the Leah's 2/3 UQ:

For reference, the toy rail track there is 20cm (8") long. The 2Q UQP is lying on the floor underneath the BMB. There is a bit of fine tuning to do with the UQ positioning and tension, but no way can I lie in the hammock here, the fixings are not strong enough... I like how the UQ more than covers the bottom of the hammock, should make for a warm night.

The UQP is quite a bit longer than the hammock. I tied the UQP suspension through the seperator rings of the BMB suspension:

Measuring the excess UQP from the spreader bar, there is easily 12" excess at either end. In any case, I think this would work as it is and give a bit of protection to the ends.

    Michael

With that protector,,I can see me hand sewing 4 Dutch quilt clips at the 4 corners of the UQP and clipping at the rings of the hammock with the other half tied to the rings,,Also I use a RL on the hammock,,,for a Top Protector or SEEP that I have made,,and bug net as well,,as I removed the bug net..and would bring the rest of the UQP up between your straps, and attach to the RL or tie at the middle of the spreader bar at both ends with another Dutch Quilt Clip..they are only 90 cents a piece and fantastic for using for anything and everything. By my using the UQP that way,,I get both ends sealed,,as well as all sides,,and with the sides fairly snug, it can remain loosely at the bottom not squishing the down of the quilt where I would lay in the hammock. Hope you understand what I am trying to describe,,but you will have total coverage this way.
