Well, Genuine Draft has a new hobby that is very relevant to this thread.

I must have gotten lazy, but she is on to my little game of ignoring her while she spouts on about stuff that is probably important to her; I guess I'd know for sure if I paid more attention. She has, within the last week, started to 'call' me on it. She'll go on and on about whatever for, I don't know, 10 hours and then abruptly ask me "What did I just say?". She had me floundering around for a couple of days until I just gave up on it. Monday night, she went about her babbling and then asked me that question. My response was "I don't have a clue". That set her off babbling some more about something or another, but I figured I no longer had to listen since I was already in trouble.

She has stopped asking me that question now.

Wow! And you can still write coherently. When speaking with her mouth doesn't work, the Missus starts speaking with other things... and only stops after I lose consciousness...
