Video: New 2Q ZQ Mod: The LDC Travel Extenders

I've been working with 2Q ZQ on a mod for the Warbonnet Travel Net/Sock to fit my new 11 foot hammock. It was too short and would come open when I'd get into my hammock scraping the ends of my hammock.
So here's the solution we came up with at only14 grams!

Very neat idea! I always felt that the bug nets like the one shown and others were too tight and affected the lay of my hammocks. Very creative way to solve the problem. What would be really cool is if the two extenders could join together and form a stuff sack for the bugnet. Maybe an easy way to do this would be to carry a few pieces of double sided hook Velcro and join the ends of the extenders together to form the double ended stuff sack. Hmmm....May have to get me a set of those!

Maybe just fold the omni inside on one extender, and attach the two together?? ZQ Edit...further thinking...it probably is easier to leave the extenders attached to the travel net. There really isn't any reason to take them off unless you would be putting them on the sock.

That's what I do. I simply left mine on and even left the net on my hammock to stuff it all into a bishop bag together. Easier set up next time.

Deb ... most excellent solution to a problem. And well executed by the capable couple behind 2QZQ products!
