    Canoe and racing bike

I have a couple of items that could use a new home. I know there really not hammock related, but they are outdoor gear.

2005 Specialized Allez Sport $350 I paid $1200 new. The bike has been kept indoors and has only been ridden in the rain once.
Specs for the bike can be found here
I put a little over 500 miles on this bike. I just prefer riding my mountain bike so have not giving this one the attention it deserves.

Northeast Outfitters Canoe $300 I paid $450 new in 2007 from DSG. I bought this with the intention of fishing with my son. He has since lost interest in fishing and prefers kayaking. This is a great lake or bay even a slow moving river canoe. I've drifted the D&R canal and fished several local lakes with it. I currently have the canoe at my campsite in Virginia. The canoe will come with two paddles and a new Eagle Claw rod holder.

    Length: 14'
    Weight: 68lbs
    Width: 42"
    Capacity: 725lbs
    Occupants: 3
    Built in storage
    3 Beverage Holders
    Built in Bait Well
    Molded Paddle Locks

A review of the canoe can be found here

The canoe will be posted up on Craigs list as well tonight. I'll put photos of the bike up tonight and of the canoe this weekend. I can not ship either item so local pickup is preferred. I'm willing to deliver the canoe within reason.

I accept paypal. First posted "I'll take it" gets priority over PMs

The following canoe pictures are for reference only as they are similar to my canoe.

What size is the bike, and what upgrades did you buy to up the price from the specs $900 MSRP?

The bike is 52cm with the Black Paint Scheme.

    Upgrades:
Dual bottle cage mounted the rear of the seat
Bottle cage on the down tube
Bottle cage on the seat tube
Forte' Road Pedals "Shimano Clips" (removed stop pedals have been installed), I do still have them as well as the shoes European size 41 or US 8 1/2.
I also have bag that I mounted on the handle pars for keeping extra tubes, snacks and a small towel for long rides.

All the cages and the pedals were installed after the bike was purchased.

Remember MSRP was exactly that, a Manufactures Suggested Retail Price. The bike shop I purchased this from was a mom and pop operation, so they tended to be a bit over priced, but the service was excellent. They have since gone out of business. I bought the bike after doing my first century on my mountain bike. Since my mountain bike was a Specialized I wanted to stick with the brand. There is no doubt in my mind that I over paid for it at the time

Since you also posted on Craigslist, please be sure to keep this thread updated with the status of the items. Thanks.

The canoe has been posted to Craigslist this morning, but is still available here as well.

I will consider reasonable offers on the Allez Bike. The bike was only used for Charity Rides and training for those rides.

There's that and the fact that I have the canoe sitting in Virginia at the moment.

Just a bump with a price drop

The bike is still for sale - $250

Will consider reasonable offers or trade. I'm not able to ship the bike so local pickup or will deliver it within a reasonable distance.
