    In the second picture it looks like you could use it as a hammock sock or pod. Looks great and I'll have to try the "inside out" method for the edges.
    I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

    I'd change one thing... I'd use a black DWR for the outer shell. The fabric I used is non-DWR so I'll probably treat it myself. I think the design is solid and I'd do it the same way again.

    Both Thru-Hiker and Outdoor Wilderness Fabrics (scroll down and hit the "Insulations" button; their website set-up is a little odd) carry it. OWFINC has more options in weight and type (the APEX is better for the weight, but more pricey).
