    Thanks! Several folks here have touted Mayan hammocks as the most comfortable style hammock. Being a hammock newbie, it appears the MH is a mayan style hammock, and I can attest to it's comfort. The only time I get near hanging off the hammock is when I put my arms above my head, I'm 5'11".

    I have been using a cheap 5'x7' Outdoor Products Sil/coated Nyon Tarp as an under cover/insulator. I just fished shock cord thru the existing channels with cord locks at diagonal opposite corners. I like the way the MH avails itself to quick easy UQ/insulator connection with a simple S-biner to the corners. With a Outdoor Products cheap stuff sack all of the above tips the scales @ 1lbs. 11 oz.

    Supposedly this and a garbage bag will work into the 40's, I guess I'll see this winter...
