Another forum I frequent has an ongoing thread entitled "Your Feet on the Trail" - I took this pic today of my feet "off the trail".
A lot of people hike to get to the end of the trail. I hike to get to the halfway point where I put up my utility hammock and take a nap.
My feet appreciate it.
I always take a hammock with me on a hike so I also get my feet off the trail if I find a good spot.
