    Homemade quilt

Yay, I finished my quilt. It weighs in at 27 oz with 15 oz of 800 fill. It has 3" of loft and measures 53" x 78". I used the momentum 90 on both sides. I posted some photos in the homemade gear gallery. http://www.hammockforums.net/gallery...images.php?c=4

Nice! I may have to try a down one sometime soon.

My prototype synthetic quilt is done, but I'm still testing it. I think I'll wait 'till after the campout this weekend to report and post pix.

Very nice looking quilt. How does the momentum90 feel? That is on my extended DIY list.

Are those tie-outs for an use as an underquilt I see?
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?

    Hammock Engineer,

To answer your questions, yes, girls with lasers on their heads is too much to ask.

Seriously though, the momentum feels great. And yes the primary use will be as an underquilt. I rigged it up and it works great. I'm so happy that I no longer have to mess with the pad.

Man, that's a great looking project. Any problems with shifting down?

    Thanks!
There doesn't appear to be any down shifting issues. It's baffled.

I like the momentum. It seems pretty nice. Somewhat silky.
