Hi from the county of Kent

Well hello to you all, I arrived here via some videos Shug posted that I found while researching hammocks. My research was delayed somewhat due to his most entertaining vid's
Just got a DD Travel Hammock/Bivi and a tarp that I hope to use on some canoeing trips.
I recognise a couple of other user names from UK based Forums for bushcraft and canoeing so I guess HF is the place to hang out for the best perspective. (I have not found any UK based forum's on chilling in a hammock)

    Rob.

Welcome to the forums from Indiana.
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

    You are not alone
It is a testament to the Shug's skills that we assign such memories to his written words. I found myself shouting out "WHOOOOOBUUUUDDDY" on a couple of canoe passes last weekend (in my poor attempt at an American accent)
