Hello, I'm Jim.

I bought an ENO SN years ago to just hang around in. My sons were in scouts and I was a leader. Mainly wanted a good napping place. Started bringing the hammock to scout camp cause I didn't like the cots. As I've gotten older, I found it harder to get up off the ground in my tent. A friend introduced me to Shug's videos and now I'm all into this hammock camping. Starting to do some DIY stuff (whoopie slings) and want to get the sewing maching back out (used to make kites). My youngest is about to cross over in the Spring so I need to have gear ready. BRW all 3 boys have their own hammock. And my dad is telling me now that he used to hammock camp as a scout leader. His UQ was a half sleeping bag sewn to the bottom of the hammock.

Looking forward to learning and possibly contibuting all I can here.

Hiya! You're only an hour from Gathland State Park, Maryland. You should come to the MAHHA group hang there in Oct! Meet a bunch of hammock addicts and have a really great time. Come for the day or to camp! We've been doing it for years. You might win a quilt at the raffle! That's the way it usually happens at the raffle (if NCPatrick ain't there. he wins everything!)

Howdy from middle VA!
