Idea with a whoopie hook

I use a few different suspensions with my different hammocks but I like to use the same tree straps. Now I would say that I'm a toggle guy all the way but I just bought some whoopie hooks to fool around with. WOW! a very cool piece of hardware. Now it makes sense to set it up like Dutch explains in his instructions but my whoopies where already made and I wanted to use them on multiple hammock. So here is what I have come up with, sorry if it has already been done. I just have not seen anyone post it as of yet. BTY I think backwards.

Krshome have you seen Dutch's latest hardware? Have you since tweaked your suspension?

That is the setup I think I want to do. How long is that loop that the hook is connected to?

Wow thats an old thread. Ok so I literally changed my suspension to the way Dutch intended to work the day after I posted this. The ability to remove the suspension is the key to happiness. Yes I have Dutches new offerings Im now rocking some speed hook. I got them when they where only 4 bucks. I have been to a few hangs and your right I have seen some crazy rigs. The continuous loop was 8-10 inches, if you look close its just hitched on the hook probably not the best way but its fine.
