Kind of depends where you going, it´s long country
Jan and Feb are hardcore winter months (Feb the coldest).
I´m an optimist and start believing in spring every March,
i get disappointed every year
So i reckon spring starts middle/late April.
July is pure summer.
As you prob know, we have a weather phenomenon in world,
so things are not the same.
That means we get kind of warm winters lately,
seldom -10C or worse , at least in Stockholm.
But i reckon it will be sub 0C through out Jan --> Feb.
Hey, watch out for the woman, we got plenty of your kind over here.
And i don't think it's the winter they are attracted to

I'm also Scandinavian. I'm from Linköping, Sweden.
A couple of months ago I bought a Hennessy hammock and I planned to use it a lot during the summer. Unfortunately, I didn't use it very much. I really like the idea with a hammock, but I haven't found the perfect way to sleep in it yet. I tend to slide towards my feet and I have been pretty cold even though I use my homemade down underquilt.
Hang the foot end ~6" higher than the head end and you'll quit sliding down towards the feet.

IMPOSSIBLE JUST TAKES LONGER
Bump,
I got a maybe time frame. It looks like I will be in Norway, about an an hour by train from Oslo for 5 or 6 weeks starting in April. I am not sure of my schedule until I get there, but is anyone still up for a Scandinavia hang?
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
The hanger formly known as "hammock engineer".
I'm also Scandinavian. I'm from västmanland, Sweden
Sorry for my bad Eng
Oslo, Norway here
I'm Norwegian, but I'm living in the Netherlands at the moment. I recently discovered that most of Europe does not allow wild camping. I really need to move back home!
I've just (last week) ordered a HH UB, a JRB Winter Nest and a nice ULA Circuit to carry it in.
