    Socks are wonderful additions in very cold weather, but be a bit careful using a sock when it's not so cold due to the higher potential for condensation.

    Hey mad777 could you give me an idea off what you mean by very cold vs not so cold temps? Temperature ranges. Thanks.

    My personal opinion is that you wouldn't want a sock till you got in the teens. At least in my case, I've got an HG 20* Burrow TQ and HG 20* Phoenix 3/4 UQ (with 2 oz. overstuff). The hammock sock is not meant to replace insulation, but to supplement it.
