Sometimes I speak out of line, challenging your rules. I also say immature, rude things in general. Although, I do not agree with every rule put forth here... they are not mine to manipulate or abuse. I absolutely love what you all do here, and you have given me an extra connection to something I love very much - the outdoors. You have probably deleted one or more of my posts, and for that I'm sorry. You have probably personally PM'ed me telling me to "find another forum if I don't like it." For that I'm sorry.
I really don't want to be that guy, so I will not be that guy. This is not my epiphany, just a couple paragraphs to express that you all do a wonderful job filtering the junk and trolls (sometimes me) out of the forum. If there was such thing as internet beer, I would buy you all a round for providing such an excellent place to "hang" out online.

Yeah, same here. Still, they have seemingly irrationally closed some of my threads or deleted/edited some of my posts once or twice. I can't imagine why. Oh well, it's their rules and they seem to have a pretty good result!

Nothing is done irrationally here. We discuss almost everything we do before it's done, and make sure it's consistent with our rules and moderating philosophy. And we almost always tell the member the first couple times we do something. When they keep doing it...we stop taking the time to explain it and just moderate.

JJ, I was trying to make a joke ( following up on Ewker's ) about "seemingly irrationally closed some of my threads.... I can't imagine why". Hence my " ". But yet once again, my joke falls flat, which is why I had to retire from stand up comedy! I know you don't do anything irrationally.
