Welcome from the Panhandle. Tons of good campsites to hang in in Fl. Even in the August/September heat. Have a 17 yr old daughter seriously looking at UCF. Good school! See ya in the woods. Holler if you need anything.

Listen to olddog and Gumbo; both of 'em definitely know what they're talking about with the 3rd Annual Hang. It's going to be a blast!

Also, we're just starting to get into the "hang season" for FL, since the temperatures will be dipping below 80 as the fall comes on. Keep an eye open on the trip planning forum. There are at least three other hangs planned for the fall and spring so far; the Summer's Last Gasp hang (next month; see my signature, below, for details), the Grinder's Birthday Hang in November, and the 2nd Annual Sherpa Hang in February of next year.

slowdown, it is an excellent school. Parking is terrible. But the professors are great for the most part. I haven't had one that didn't have at least one redeeming quality! haha
