Attaching Ring Buckles to my EnoDN

Hey hammockers! I'm looking for some help. I've attached some pictures of what I'm working with here. Basically, I need to know the most effective way to attach these descending rings to my hammock. Is it possible to do with the chord already attached to my Eno or do I need to replace that?

Any suggestions?

Slide 2 of those rings on that loop, push them down to the hammock then open that loop up and pull the hammock through the loop do the same for the other side. Not how I did it but it should work. I replaced the stock rope with an amsteel chain link with the rings larks headed on the link before I threaded it through the end channel of the hammock

Larkshead that black rope around two rings. Repeat on other side.

I would recommend changing out the rope. Just pull it out and chuck it. If you have amsteel make a couple continuous loops about a foot long. Just stack two rings and larks head the continuous loop onto the rings. Then pass the other end through the channel till it comes out. Take the ring end and pass it through the end comin out the other side to complete the larkshead through the end channel. If you dont have amsteel to make continuous loops just make a couple double fisherman's knot loops out of some sturdy rope.

I got rid of the bulky stock rope on my Eno DN and replaced it with spare climbing rope I had. Now I've moved on to Amsteel.

I would keep and use what you have, then use the knot swankfly showed. I did that with my ENO (with a ring buckle style suspension) and haven't had any problems with it.

You do not need to pull the whole hammock through the loop to make a larkshead. Just put the the loop through the centre of both rings, then open the loop and grab the rings. Next, just slide the loop over the outside of the rings. If you have enough rope, it would be good to go around again and form a prusik. Here's Knotty's video on what I'm talking about:

Don't forget to use a slippery half hitch as a back up after feeding and adjusting the webbing through the rings.
