    nice Dutch oven desserts!

That's some beautiful cobbler and cake in those Dutch ovens! When I cook in a Dutch oven it's not that pretty. Those desserts look like they've been baked in an oven at home. Charcoal briquettes and not wood coals, right?

Waaaaaaa! I wish I could have been there. I made it safely to Germany. Trust me, while I was at the airport waiting on my flight I was thinking I'd be having much more fun at the hangout.

You know, they don't have coffee makers in the rooms here in Germany...

Hikingjer, yes I used charcoal, more on top than on bottom. Every 10-15 minutes rotate the lid a quarter turn then rotate the whole oven a quarter turn to prevent hot spots. We had a great time, good folks, good food, good music and good fun. I really enjoyed getting to know some of you better. We missed you Shadowmoss and BllyBob. For those that might have heard me leave even earlier than I planned I woke up after about 4 hours and just could not get comfortable in that Claytor,(first time to try my no net Claytor) since I was going to leave in 3 more hours anyway I decided to just go ahead and leave. I'm not giving up on the Claytor I probably just didn't have something just right. tnhillbilly

Nice pic's, Neo! Had a great time seeing everyone and hangin' out. Food was great, especially the cobblers! Rain Man stopped by my place last night and picked up his book and ax that he left at the campsite, so all is well.

See you all swingin' down the Trail!
