    Attaching top quilt to ridgeline???

I've tried several hammock mods with the goal of keeping my top quilt from going overboard. Of course, hammocks with sewn in nets don't have this problem.

My next mod that I am considering for this purpose is to sew a small loop into the foot end of my top quilt and attach it with a string to my ridgeline. Has anyone tried this approach and if so, how do you like it.

I have done exactly that to my top quilt. Now only the head end falls out.

My DD hammock is Pod style so I get in the two layers and zip up! I see your issue without the lid some gear may exit .best of luck with the loops!

I have done it for about a year now and love it. Keeps me from knocking the quilt off my feet when I move in the night.

One on the head end should do it because it will make it where your feet can push it away and keep it where its needed. Or do a knotty mod.
