    Before I tried this (essentially a permanent change to your hammock that you may not like) I'd use something like this:

    While the silicone dots are an excellent idea, I've used this stuff to keep my sleeping bag from sliding off of my inflatable sleeping pad when I was sleeping in a tent. Good stuff, and might work for this application.

    SPE is actually your best option I agree with rat althogh silicon dots are nice and so is no slip fabric we hangers have stuck with SPE for one awesome reason they provide warmth to your shoulders. If you don't want to make one you can buy one at ENO website I wish speer would sue eno and sell their own but yeah that is generally what works if you have an inflated pad make sure to deflate it a bit so it can conform the hammock.
