This is my 50th forum post, so I thought I'd share a funny story. Yesterday, when I called Lake Greenwood S.P., I asked the lady if it was OK for us to hang hammocks. I had already stated we are a hammock camping group. She asked, "So that will be your primary shelter??" I answered, "Yes, Ma'am, we are hammock campers. Is that OK?" She said with a little surprise in her voice, "Well, I don't see why not!!" It sounded as if she was thinking...well, if that is what floats your boat, but I think y'all are crazy. Haha!

Well...if anyone sees you out at Parson's Mtn counting trees, they will definitely think you're crazy. I think we're all a little crazy anyway...my thought is if someone says they're not crazy, they most certainly are!

Seems like most people are fine with Parson's Mtn, but I am going to post pics tomorrow so everyone can decide if it's ok. I'm going to check out the sites to see how many people we can fit on one.

It's only 31 miles for me. I love it.

I may be bringing a new hammock camper. One of my co-workers is interested, and I am going to lend him some gear. I think he will be a definite convert after this hang.
