well, good news! my road rash is recovering nicely. i found my $600 headlights in the ditch yesterday. and i dont have to work tomorrow.

Great news, Ahhgladius! Glad you are feeling better.

I reworked my hammock today. Unwhipped the ends, sewed an end channel with triple stitching and ran my whoopie slings through the ends. I bought two 10' pieces of military spec webbing for tree wraps yesterday. I sewed a loop onto one end of each then put in an overhand knot to hook my biners to. My hammock lies much flatter now and I don't feel like I'm stuffed inside a burrito anymore!! Can't wait for the hang!

Y'all are making me jealous about missing this one. I will be hanging all that week in the upstate so it's still gonna be a great week but I will miss all the companionship. Maybe I can make another one before march. Have a great time.

Gladius, glad you weren't hurt worse and are recovering. Been in a couple crashes myself, I feel for you. Just be glad they don't have to reinforce you with steel.
