Just playin' in the trees .....

Had my youngest daughter "Ewok" home for the summer, and decided to have some fun before she went back to college, so we planned a day together in Western Mass in the Berkshires doing some Ziplining together. We stopped on the way out there at my dropzone (where I usually skydive) and she got to see some of my friends fall from the sky and land. She wanted to jump too, but we had time constraints at the Zipline course, and another hour and a half of driving to get there.

I had no camera, but they had a photographer there who takes shots for folks. Here's a couple - my daughter, the Ewok, Me (SkyPainter), and the obligatory group shot in a tree platform. Many ways to use trees!

    Was great fun!!

These first two come out sideways for some reason! Sorry!

DDD_6434.jpg It ain't exactly freefall, but it sure is fun anyway!

DDD_6437.jpg The Ewok does a mean Tarzan yell!

    DDD_6453.jpg Group fun!

We did a 3-hour challenge course - 11 different Ziplines, each with a unique characteristic; three different rappels down from tree platforms, and two swinging rope bridges.

We had a ball! Afterwards, we went and had lunch, and crawled through some antique shops before heading home.

Fun using the tops of the trees this time!

Hope you enjoy them! (Sorry about the pic rotations!)

===> If you get a chance, go do it! It is a ball, and they are extremely safety oriented.

    Thanks!

===> Thanks, Shug! Shorely was a lot of fun that day! Was real nice getting to spend a day together with my kid in the Piney Woods of New England, even if it wasn't in a hammock!

BTW: On the tallest and longest of the zip lines, I let out a mighty "Whoooo Buuddaay!" whist traversing the span! Echo'd throughout the mountains! hehehe... representin', ya know!

    Best -
