"Smallest" and "comfortably" are key words. Have you checked out the WB Edge? I personally don't own one but WB gear is well made.

    thank you syb
the edge is 10.5' X 8' which may be perfect.

would going down to a 10' X 6' be too small?

i have one of the super flys which is 11' X 10' and its huge for fair whether camping

I know a member here has a very small - read ultralight - tarp, smaller than 10' X 6' I believe but it's all in the way you set it up. I too own a superfly and I'm sure it's bigger than my first apartment. I also own a MacCat Standard and it's just under 10'5" long and 7' wide. For me it's a great fit, small and very light (mine is made of Spinn which isn't readily available) and covers exactly what I need. I hope all this info helps.

My DIY BlackCrow tarp is almost the same size as the Edge.
If it were me....I would not go much smaller.

I've used a Speer 8x10 with the Warbonnet, and I agree, that's about the smallest I'd be willing to go.
