    B2R, forgot to mention

the Orca's season might not be over.
I'm sure you know but noobs may not. It's perfectly OK to stack underquilts
and the Orca is a great candidate to add some degrees to the setup at a good weight.
Another use of the Orca is to shift it down toward the foot end and wrap the side you feet go to.
I've got 3 of mac's IX UQs and need to remember this advice for myself!
The only problem I ever had with IX is its stuffability but we knew that from the get-go.

I watched them for about a year and a half, then bit the bullet and it was (IS) worth it, to me.

you are right I was actually thinking of stacking the Baby Orca coming weekend.

I probably overlooked it but I didn't know about the 'stuffability', but with that weight... you just find another solution to a minor problem.

Nice Grtz! Sweet setup. I've always wanted a HG tarp may have to get one now that I see yours! Love your part of the world. I would be very happy to hang a hammock in the Netherlands. Enjoy your new gear and may it serve you well.

I just pulled the string for a Baby Orca. I'm looking forward to it. I was looking for a way to reduce weight from my 22 oz. Mount Washington 3 (which I will still use). The 8.5 oz Orca was just too tempting.

    Hey Johan,

Very nice setup you have there. I like how you had the doors setup under the tarp.
    Take care,

Thanks for watching Sidewinder. Hanging in Holland is always looking for a spot away from the crowd. Hammock Gear Winter Palace is AWESOME (insert WaterMonkey voice here)

I know what you mean Deacon, the Baby Orca was on my wishlist for a while and I am very glad it is now OFF the wishlist and in the gear to use pile.

Johan, are you familiar with the WB Superfly? If so, could you compare the two for us?

    Hi Boomer,

Some friends of mine have the WB SUperfly but I am not really familiar with the specs (length, width, weight etc.) other then the website.

I do know that Hawk-Eye has just put up a vid with his new HG Cuben tarp AND the Superfly in this thread.

    Hope that helped a bit.
