Well, I've been stalking the hammock forums for a while so when I bought the hammock I knew I'd want to play with it right out of the box. Unfortunately for me, I live on a mil base and I just don't have a really good place to hang without having the stand...or looking weird! I can imagine the MPs sniffing around the tarp in the middle of the night, wonder what the heck was hanging in the community park!!
