Also a newbie. And I just managed to kill a byer moskito hammock 4 days ago. No injuries to me but the net totally destroyed. As I kind of sprawled there on the ground, I tried to figure some way to get up without doing more damage. Then I discovered I couldn't get up. U remember the movie the great escape where McQueen's trying to extract himself from the barbed wire and the motorcycle? Felt a bit like that.

I finally had to pull out my knife and cut my way out.

I'm burying the hammock tomorrow.

I was playing with my camera's self timer and really slow shutter speeds and was foiled by my spreader bar backyard hammock this evening. Fortunately I didn't get caught on camera, i broke my laptops fall, and eventually i got a picture.

Talksfast99, that picture is hilarious! I know after reading your post that you are doing the captain morgan thing, but to me it just looks like you are having yourself a stiff fart.
